Dana Smith
Dana began her career at Edelman Public Relations Worldwide, where she was the key member of a small group that helped build a multi-million dollar consumer technology and new media practice for the agency. After leaving Edelman in 1998, Dana pursued a career as an independent consultant helping Bay Area public relations agencies grow their own dot.com practices. In the fall of 1999 Dana formed dadascope communications because she saw a need for an agency that combines solid business expertise with cutting-edge creativity.

Dana brings over a decade of strategic public relations experience to dadascope communications. She has worked with industry leaders such as Microsoft (Hotmail, Picture It!, Sidewalk, CarPoint, Microsoft Works), Infoseek, Odyssey, Schwab.com, Starbucks.com, EDS, IBM and Sony Digital Tape Storage as well as emerging dot.com's in the music distribution, online financial services and business-to-business spaces. dadascope's current client roster includes next-generation companies from the hottest industries, including personalization, Web design, online marketing, media, music and entertainment.
