After a three-year crash course in PR at Edelman Worldwide, Dana founded Dadascope in 1999 at the age of 26. She continues to bring her entrepreneurial spirit and enthusiasm for her clients’ stories to every aspect of the agency’s practice areas.

BELLINGHAM, WA — Elka has worked with Dadascope for almost 10 years, with a focus on leading accounts for media brands such as KCRW, PRX, Radiotopia, Independent Bookstore Day, Sunset, and Grist. Her thoughtful pitches have garnered outstanding coverage for clients, including feature articles in The New Yorker and The Wall Street Journal, among others. Elka has an MFA in writing and was the founding home editor of Popsugar prior to joining Dadascope.

NEW YORK — With 12+ years of PR agency experience, Kara's diverse communications and marketing leadership background has enabled her to represent startups to multinational corporations. Kara is a trusted counselor and ghostwriter for senior executives, teams, partners, and stakeholders with extensive expertise in food/beverage/CPG, consumer technology, and B2B technology. A storyteller through and through, Kara takes an integrated approach when telling her clients' stories through earned media and influencer relations, small- and large-scale activations and events, and executive visibility campaigns. Kara is personally passionate about crafting messaging and narratives for emerging technologies. Having served as a practice group leader and as an interim NYC office lead, she has a knack for motivating teams and innovative problem-solving.
